Our goal is to raise awareness about gentrification in New York City. There are so many neighborhoods and people experiencing this, and it seems like most people are oblivious to what is going on. It's becoming more of a problem, so it also may be beneficial for a younger audience to learn about this issue. There's also no denying that there are positive effects of gentrification, but we believe the negatives outweigh the positives in this case. Making the decision between money and people should be an easy choice. We know we cannot stop gentrification alone-that is beyond us. However, bringing attention to the topic may allow others to rally together and stand up for those who cannot.
